Bulldog Beginnings

Bulldog Beginnings is Gardner-Webb University’s one-day summer orientation experience designed to help you start your college journey with confidence. During this required program, you’ll be welcomed into the Bulldog community, connect with campus leaders, and gain a clear understanding of what to expect in your first semester.

Throughout the day, you’ll explore student life, hear from current students, and learn about the many ways to get involved on campus. You’ll also engage in sessions focused on academic success, advising, financial aid, and important topics like navigating college as an independent student. Families will have dedicated sessions to better understand how to support their student’s transition.

In the afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity to connect one-on-one with key campus offices, attend optional appointments, and take important next steps toward the fall semester, including academic advising, preparing your class schedule, and billing.

Bulldog Beginnings is more than summer orientation, it’s your first step in becoming part of the Gardner-Webb community.
